Tropical Storm
Koto - "Verbena"

Updated: Nov 29 2025
Time: 20:10 (PST)

Storm Info:
Koto - "Verbena"
Current Conditions
Wind Speed: 100 Km/h
Gusts: 135 Km/h
Overall the Storm has weakened and is now a Tropical Storm.

Movement:
For the past 30 Hrs the storm followed a really WEIRD Zigzag Path, and now has kinda stalled off the coast of Vietnam. It is predicted to continue moving slowly towards Vietnam, where it could make Landfall on December 3, 2025.

Previous Storm Info
Philippines:

Due to storm Koto (Verbena) +10,000 more people lost their homes due to flooding and landslides.

- The storm has caused considerable damage in the Philippines, particularly in Eastern and Central Visayas and parts of Luzon. Widespread flooding and landslides have led to infrastructure destruction, including damaged roads and downed power lines. In many region significant loss of agricultural produce, increasing food security concerns. Emergency services are mobilizing to provide aid, but access remains challenging in hard-hit areas.

While Koto (Verbena) was initially labeled a Tropical Depression, its true danger was laying in the massive rainfall it unleashed (Not the Winds). Many communities underestimated the storm, relentless downpours caused catastrophic flooding, leading to landslides and even submerged entire villages.

The situation turned tragic as the underestimated storm's rainfall caused significantly more damage than most people had expected. This highlights the urgent need for better weather education and storm preparedness.

The government urgently needs to implement comprehensive programs to educate teachers, students and communities, ensuring future generations take storms more seriously and understand the real potential dangers of massive rainfall better.
- Increased awareness will empower individuals to prepare better, reducing the likelihood of similar tragedies in the future.

Many people ask:
