Last Post: Yutu has almost disapeared from the Radar, is now near Hong Kong but has lost almost all of it's power and is now just a weak storm nothing serious!
In the next few hours, it is expcted, that the storm will be, what we call History.

Yutu, made Landfall around Oct. 30th 2018 4:00 AM (Local Phi Time), and is moving currently WEST-WEST direction, it lost some power upon making landfall but is still a severe Typhoon ! This Super Typhoon made crazy zig-zag moves in the last couple of days, making it impossible to predict, where it might make Landfall.
At the end the Typhoon changes directions once again and went WEST until it made landfall.

Severe damages are expected
In the Northern Luzon Area, after the massive Typhoon hit the land very hard...

Yutu, changed directions, getting closer to Manila then expected
In the past hours again the storm changed once again directions and is moving now again W-W-S !
Expected to make Landfall Monday late Night or early morning on Tuesday !
Direction: South / West

Typhoon moving direction to Philippines (W-W-N) !
Chances are now increased that the Typhoon could make Landfall in the same Area then 'Mamut' did !

We can only hope that PHI Gov. will THIS time Pre-Warn people better, in the Northern Luzon !
Sad to say, the Phi Pre-Warn System for Tropical Storms and/or Typhoons, is real extremly bad and poor, as a better pre-warn system could have safed many more lifes in previous Typhoons!
(That's the main reason WHY we are offering this Free Service !)

We Know...
There is no CAT: 4.8 !
But there should be, as this Typhoon is just 5 Miles slower to be a CAT #5 !!!
So ViCPad is declaring Typhoon "Yutu" to be currently a CAT: 4.8 storm !

Yutu has picked up again some speed and is almost again a CAT 5 after loosing power last night.
ViCPad therefor keep a CAT 5 ranking, as there is a good chance that the Typhoon will pickup again more power in the next hours...
Still moving further WEST (W-W-N), direction northern Philippines (Luzon)

The storm has increased a little strength (+- 10 Mph)
Remaining still to be a Super Typhoon!

Yutu has lost a little bit of power, after hitting the Northern Mariana Islands very hard.

The 'Monster' Typhoon Yutu made landfall around 1:00 a.m. (local time) slammed the hardest the Island Tinian and Saipan, Guam further south (a U.S. Territory in the West Pacific Ocean), was less hard hit.

Yutu's highest wind gusts of up to 189 Mph, with a maximum sustained winds of about 178 mph.
Yutu is much stronger then the historical storm that hit USA-Florida just 2 weeks earlier.

"Tinian has been devastated by Typhoon Yutu, homes and main roads have been destroyed. Our critical infrastructure has been compromised. We currently have no power and water. Our ports at this time are inaccessible and several points within the island are inaccessible."
